Terms & Booking Policy

These terms cover everything you book or buy from me through larahinson.com. They're written to be clear and fair. Please read them before you book, and get in touch if anything's unclear.

1. About me

​

I'm Lara Hinson, a psychic medium and energy healer trading as [Lara Hinson], based in the UK. You can reach me at laralarahinson@gmail.com. In these terms, "I", "me" and "my" mean Lara Hinson, and "you" means the person booking or buying.

​

2. Who can book

​

You must be 18 or over to book a reading, a healing session, the programme or a course. When you book, you confirm you're 18 or over and that you've read my Disclaimer.

​

3. Readings and healing sessions

​

Booking and payment. You book and pay in full online when you choose your time. Prices are shown in pounds sterling on my website. Payments are handled securely by Wix and [PayPal / card provider], and I never see your full card details. Sessions need to be booked at least 48 hours ahead.

 

How sessions happen. All sessions take place on Zoom. Your link is in your confirmation email. Please join from somewhere quiet and private, with a steady internet connection.

Running late. If you join late, we'll use the time that's left, and the session will still end at its booked time.

Moving your session. You can move your session yourself, free of charge, up to 48 hours before it starts, using the link in your confirmation email.

 

Cancelling.

• More than 48 hours before your session: [a full refund / a credit to rebook within 3 months].

• Less than 48 hours before: no refund, but get in touch and we'll find you a new time.

• If you don't turn up and don't get in touch: [the session is treated as used / you'll be offered one rebooked time].

 

Your legal right to cancel.

Under UK law, you can cancel within 14 days of booking and get a full refund, as long as your session hasn't taken place yet. If you ask for a session that falls within those 14 days, you agree that once it's taken place, the right to cancel ends.

If I need to cancel. Very occasionally I may need to move or cancel, for example through illness. If that happens, I'll let you know as soon as I can and offer you a new time or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Technical problems. If the connection drops on my side and we can't carry on, I'll rebook the rest of your session at no cost. If it drops on your side, I'll wait and try to reconnect with you, but the session will still end at its booked time.

Your notes. After some readings, I'll email you written notes so you can look back on what came through. They're for your personal use.

Topics I don't read on. To keep readings safe and responsible, I won't make predictions about health, pregnancy, death, or legal matters. See my Disclaimer for more.

Respect.

I want every session to feel safe for both of us. I may end a session, without a refund, if someone is abusive or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

4. General

​

What I'm responsible for. I'll provide my services with reasonable care and skill. I'm not responsible for decisions you make or actions you take after a session (see my Disclaimer). Nothing in these terms limits my responsibility where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights are not affected.

​

My content. My courses, audios, meditations, recordings and written materials are for your personal use only. Please don't copy, share, resell or publish them.

​

Complaints. If something isn't right, please email me at [email address]. I'll reply within [5] working days, and we'll do our best to put it right.

​

Changes. I may update these terms from time to time. The version on my website when you book is the one that applies.

​

Law. These terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales], and the courts of [England and Wales] can deal with any dispute.

​

5. My 3-month 1:1 programme

These terms apply on top of the general terms above. They form our agreement when you join the programme.

Discovery call. Every programme starts with a free 20-minute call, so we can both be sure it's the right fit. There's no obligation to join afterwards.

​

What's included. 12 weekly one-hour sessions on Zoom, plus [meditations, audios, course access and messaging support between sessions]. The full details are on the programme page.

​

Price and payment.

The programme is £2,500. You can pay in full, or on a payment plan of [3 monthly payments of £834]. Payment plans are taken automatically each month through my website, and the full amount is due whichever way you pay.

​

If a payment doesn't go through. I'll let you know and give you [7] days to sort it. If it's still unpaid after that, sessions pause until it's up to date.

​

Your sessions.

Once you've joined, I'll book your weekly sessions with you. If you need to move one, please give me at least 48 hours' notice. A session missed without notice counts as used. Your sessions need to be used within [16] weeks of your first session.

​

Between sessions.

You can message me through [WhatsApp / email / the client area]. I reply within [2 working days], Monday to Friday. Messaging support isn't for emergencies (see the support details in my Disclaimer).

​

Session notes.

With your permission, I use Zoom's AI summary to help me write your session notes. The summary is checked and edited by me before you receive it. 

​

Your legal right to cancel. You can cancel within 14 days of joining. If no sessions have taken place, you'll get a full refund. If you asked to start within those 14 days, you'll get a refund minus a fair amount for the sessions and materials you've already had.

​

After 14 days. Because I hold your place and your weekly times for you, the programme can't be refunded after 14 days, and any payment plan continues to the end. If something serious happens, like illness or bereavement, please talk to me. We can usually pause your sessions for up to 4 weeks.

​

If I can't continue. If I'm unable to finish your programme for any reason, I'll refund you for the sessions you haven't had.

​

6. Courses, masterclasses and digital downloads

 

Access.

Once you've paid, you'll get access straight away by email or through your account on my website. Your access is lifetime access.

​

Your legal right to cancel.

Online courses are digital content. When you buy, you'll be asked to agree that you want access straight away and that you understand this means the 14-day right to cancel ends once you have access. That's why course purchases can't be refunded once access has started.

​

If something's wrong. If a course doesn't work or isn't as described, please tell me. I'll fix it, or give you a refund if I can't.

​

Personal use only.

Courses are for the person who bought them. Please don't share your login or pass the materials on. If you'd like to give a course as a gift, just get in touch.

Free resources.

Free guides, masterclasses and downloads are offered as they are. I may change or stop them at any time.
